Dining table for 6: Solid Wood, Glass

A solid wood table consisting of 17 2" thick layers. A parametric model describing voronoi-like geometry derived from the breadfruit's skin was generated in Grasshopper. It was then projected into a surface modeled to fit 6 people comfortably and distribute the weight organically. Each layer was specifically carved out with CNC milling. They were later stacked and turned into a single piece topped with a 3/4" clear glass.
