Custom Cabinet Doors

Mascarey, a darker shade of the Mahogany species, was used build these beautiful doors for a cabinet in a living room with a great view of the Condado Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean in San Juan, Puerto Rico. After recording and post-processing audio frequencies from ocean waves, we arrived at a specific composition of several tunes, much like chords and harmonics are composed. The result is this stunning pattern in which the sinusoidal lines are described by carving out the negative spaces between them.
